Often synonymous with blended learning, hybrid learning seamlessly integrates face-to-face instruction with online learning experiences, presenting a flexible and dynamic approach to education. This article delves into the current state of hybrid learning in the Philippines, dissecting its advantages, challenges, and the pivotal role of technology in shaping the future of education in this archipelagic nation. The roots of hybrid learning in the Philippines can be traced back to the swift evolution of technology and its increasing integration into various facets of society. The advent of the internet and the widespread use of smartphones presented the education sector in the Philippines with an opportunity to elevate the learning experience. Consequently, the government and educational institutions embarked on a journey to harness technology, addressing the challenges posed by traditional education, including limited resources and access to quality education. A foremost advantage of hybrid learning in the Philippines lies in its potential to overcome issues related to accessibility and inclusivity. The geographical dispersion of the islands often hampers students in remote areas from accessing quality education.
