WOMAN CAUGHT SELLING OVERPRICED COVID-19 MEDICINE
A woman was arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation in Cebu City for selling overpriced Tocilizumab, a medicine found to be effective in reducing the mortality rate among severe Covid-19 patients. The subject, identified as Cherry Jalaron, reportedly sold one vial of Tocilizumab for P97,000, way higher than the maximum retail price of P20,581.45 set by the government.
