PNP launches ‘BARANGAYanihan’ Help and Food Bank in Region 3

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) launched Friday the BARANGAYanihan Help and Food Bank project in Central Luzon.

A nationwide initiative of newly installed PNP Chief PGen. Guillermo Eleazar, it aims to help indigents greatly affected by the COVID19 pandemic.

“The Police Regional Office was able to give relief packs to our Muslim brothers and sisters, Indigenous Peoples and the women's sector in various parts of Central Luzon,” Police Regional Director PBGen. Valeriano De Leon said.

“In these trying times, Bayanihan spirit must be inculcated to every Filipino’s heart. We must show compassion to those in need and help without expecting anything in return. We appeal to all our kind-hearted kababayans to help or donate cash or in kind for our fellow Filipinos thru this project,” he added.
