Liquor ban remainsin Tarlac areas with high Covid cases

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO–The provincial government of Tarlac will still impose a liquor ban on areas with a high number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases.

In a resolution on the updated guidelines for the management of Covid-19 cases in the Tarlac released on Friday, the liquor ban will still in effect in the towns of Bamban, Camiling, Capas, Concepcion,

Gerona Paniqui, and Tarlac City until May 31.

The daily curfew will be from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. of the next day from May 16 until May 31, 2021, the resolution said.

The guidelines added that face-to-face cockfighting (sabong) in Tarlac is still strictly prohibited.

However, cockfighting for the sole purpose of e-sabong licensed and regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming

Corporation (PAGCOR) is allowed.

All essential travels should also comply with the requirements of the provincial government of Tarlac Tr av el Pa ss (www.pgtravelpass.com) and the Movement Activity Tracker Applicat i o n (www.mata.wah.ph) as the primary contact tracing system.
