Nanay’s Bulad Flakes

The events industry is one of the greatly affected businesses in this pandemic, considering mass gatherings are prohibited. As it will take some time to recover, event coordinator and coowner of The Centerpiece and White Mannequin ventured into the reselling business when the enhanced community quarantine began so he could be more productive and make some income. After trying his colleague’s “bulad flakes,” ready-to-eat sautéed dried fish flakes in a jar, he instantly liked it. It all started when he and his business partner Roderick Bautista started giving out the product to their friends as gifts until their friends asked them where they could buy the product. Both of them saw it as an opportunity to become a distributor. According to Eddie, it is good to partner with a trusted and established business. “And if you really have faith in the product and/or service they offer, being a distributor or reseller of a brand can be an instant answer to a new business venture,” he shared.
