LAST WEEK, the Benguet Society of British Columbia Canada (BSBSCC) headed by its president Mr. Bruce Ganase donated more than 900 reams of bond papers to the 13 schools district in the schools division of Benguet. Each schools district was given 60 reams to be divided among the identified recipient schools.

This is part of their project “Balik Eskwela sa Pandemya” that aims to support schools by providing supplies and other necessary materials contributory to the implementation of the modular distance learning. The aforementioned organization has also been respondent to the need of schools for strengthening wash in schools (WinS) by providing 70 “drumvatory” or hand washing facility in partnership with the Philippine Red Cross.

This was made possible through the benevolence of the members of the BSBCC and online concert for a cause conducted last November.

According to Jayne Bayangan Ducusin, the aforesaid project will be a continuing initiative to aid schools in Benguet.

In a Facebook post by DepEd Tayo Benguet last week, the school’s division superintendent extended her gratitude to BSBCC for prioritizing schools in Benguet as beneficiaries of their good cause.
