Just for show?

Music blared over the loudspeakers, smoke billowed across the stage, and the curtain dropped to reveal Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley dressed to the nines as a crowd of several thousand inside the Nokia Theater let out a roar.

They won't meet in the ring until May 1 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, but the first stop on a whirlwind, three city publicity tour Tuesday included plenty of pomp and pizazz.

Fireworks, too. After lengthy introductions that would have made silver-tongued Michael Buffer blush, the unbeaten Mayweather and the welterweight champion Mosley sauntered to the middle of the stage and stood face to face.

`Bring on Floyd'

One Fan at the MGM grand said it all for everyone.

He had a poster with an "x" and reeled off Pacquiao's victims.

Miguel Cotto.

Then a warning.

"Floyd Mayweather, you're next."

Just a little after Pacquiao sealed his historic feat seven world titles in seven weight divisions the fans at the MGM also sent a message: "We want Floyd! We want Floyd!" The undefeated Mayweather, who unretired to face Juan Marquez last September has continually belittled Pacquiao and the Pacman's fans made it known--they want him next.

But Pacquiao, isn't taking the bite, yet.

"We will just leave it to our manager," Pacquiao said when he was asked in the post-fight interview of the prospect of facing Mayweather. "Right now, I will have a vacation and spend time with my family."
